Chief's Mourn Passing of Member

Gregory Paul Oprondek, a member of the Chief Engineers Association died suddenly at the age of 50.

Greg was employed by the City of Chicago as a Chief Engineer with the Department of General Services. He had worked for the City in various capacities for 28 years.

A loyal member of CEAC, Greg attended most meetings and was quick to volunteer with special projects to help the Chiefs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 6/12/2001 from 2:00 P.M. til 9:00 P.M. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 West 151st Street, in Orland Park, Illinois.
