Things Are Looking Up As CEAC Is Going Higher Tech
The Chief Engineers Association has tried to maintain a high level approach
for its members throughout the last 85 years. From the day-to-day operations
of its membership database to the most efficient way to keep records and finances.
Recently the decision was made to upgrade the entire system.
(L to R) Cindy Gallagher, computer task master and Stacye Clark, computer programmer, hard at work. This was the initial start-up of the new computer program and system recently installed for the CEAC. These will be familiar faces at future meetings. Have your ID card ready and the check-in line will go fast and smooth.
Stacye Clark was recommended to help set up the system with a currently popular
software program. Ultimately she has done a great job for us and it is now up
and running. It was a giant undertaking. A great deal of time was spent, more
than imagined in the beginning.
Cindy Gallagher, an eight year veteran employee who is about as close to the
daily operations of the association as anyone, has taken over now that Stacye
has completed her task.
Cindy will engineer all facets of the new computer system including the check-in
tables at all of the monthly educational meetings. It is our intention to make
the check-in at these meetings go as smooth as possible and we are confident
that they will if everyone helps. All members MUST have their ID cards that
they received when they joined the association. They are a permanent card and
WILL NOT be renewed annually. There will be three lines formed ? 1 each for
Active, Associate and Guest check-ins. Please take notice of these changes.
Please keep in mind that as fast as computers are these days, they are never
fast enough. Be patient ? we are working hard on this problem.
Name tags will be issued at the check-in table and no one will be admitted
to the meeting without one. Please put your nametags on when received.
