Changing Water Treatment Ways
For over forty years, H-O-H Water Technology has been providing Chief Engineers
throughout the Chicago area with the water treatment programs they need to
keep their critical systems operating at peak performance. But now, H-O-H is
introducing
a new technology that promises to forever change the way that Chiefs look at
water treatment.
Called “The Green Machine”,
H-O-H’s new technology eliminates the need for scale control additives
(acid or non-acid), maximizes water conservation and provides hands-free operation.
The Green Machine technology eliminates the need for scale control additives as well as providing hands-free operation.
The Green Machine uses electrochemistry to remove anions and cations from
the water passing through the unit. The result is the elimination of scale-forming
minerals before water passes through to your cooling towers and heat exchangers.
Developed by scientists in Israel to treat water from mineral saturated Middle
Eastern lakes, the Green Machine has been submitted for LEED points and
tax credits as an energy conservation device usable in any commercial, industrial
or institutional
setting.
Tom Hutchison, president of H-O-H Technology stands in front of the The Green Machine, as he explains the cost-saving benefits it provides for water treatement.
According to Tom Hutchison, President of H-O-H Water Technology, the introduction
of the chemical-free Green Machine does not signal an end to the type
of service that H-O-H has traditionally provided. It is simply a unique, effective
technology
that H-O-H can use as part of a comprehensive total water management
program.
It also underscores the commitment that H-O-H has to provide the best
environmental solutions for water treatment available to Chief Engineers.
It is an example of a green technology saving green (dollars) as water
and chemical costs are reduced.
