Jergens Offers New Spinner Grip Brochure
Jergens, Inc., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of standard tooling
components, has issued a new 4-page Spinner-Grip™ Fastening System brochure.
The system consists of Jergens’ proprietary Spinner-Grip Flange Lock
Nuts and Spinner-Grip Flange Locking Bolts, which, when used together, double
the
locking power, increase product reliability and safety, allow longer maintenance
intervals and product life, and save money by eliminating the need for other
locking hardware. Used separately, Spinner-Grip Nuts and Bolts offer superior
holding power for heavy-vibration applications.
A Jergens innovation, Spinner-Grip Nuts and Bolts feature a proprietary conical
flange design. When tightened down to the part, the conical-shaped flange flexes.
The Spinner-Grip Nut then locks to the base part, rather than to the bolt,
without the need for lock washers, flat washers, or locking elements. The self-locking
Spinner-Grip Bolt also locks to the base part, providing better hold under
vibration.
The free brochure also lists pertinent applications for the Spinner-Grip™ Fastening
System, recommended torque and ordering information with both US standard inch
and metric specifications, and instructions for ordering Spinner-Grip Bolts,
