Department of Homeland Security Co-Hosts January Meeting
An excellent, informative meeting was attended by chiefs and vendors alike regarding
building security and the measures being taken to keep all the buildings as safe
as possible. Security is an important issue, as was demonstrated by the amount
of attendees at the January meeting.
Held at the beautiful Mayfield Banquets, a wonderful family style dinner
was enjoyed by all. Generous portions of roast beef, chicken, mashed potatoes,
vegetables,
mostaccioli and heavenly kolackies graced the tables as an evening of great
camaraderie was shared by all.
A raffle of great tools was hosted by CEAC for all the Active Members in
attendance.
Our monthly educational meetings are a great way to keep informed of all
the changes that affect your building and your job. Each month a vendor co-sponsors
the meeting, letting you know what they have available to make your buildings
run more efficiently.
Be sure to make plans on attending our annual St. Patrick’s Day meeting
on March 21 at the Irish American Heritage Center. Ray Harrington’s corned
beef and cabbage is on the menu. Mark your calendar for our April and May meetings,
the third Wednesday of each month, and watch the mail for details as they become
finalized.
As always we have published as many pictures as space allows. Check the Website
for pictures also.
