product for consumers that provides a detailed, visual profile of household
heat and air conditioning usage.
Designed to help reduce energy costs, the new HOBO® Temperature Logger
Kit combines a HOBO Data Logger - a compact, battery-powered temperature recording
device - and accompanying software that allows you to view heat and AC activity
on your home PC or Mac.
The HOBO is even easier to use than a programmable thermostat. An average
homeowner with basic computer skills can set up and activate the HOBO within
minutes.
Then, it’s just a matter of disconnecting the HOBO from the computer
and placing it in areas throughout the home to be modified.
Once data has been collected for a certain period of time, accompanying software
converts the data into time-stamped graphs that enable homeowners to see
what was happening and when. The visual data is the key to seeing usage habits
and
discovering problems.
