Tee Off! Chiefs Celebrate Their 65th Golf Outing, 2005
Mother Nature was a little upset that no one asked her to join the CEAC Annual
Golf Outing but at least she didn't spoil the entire day. The sun didn't shine
but the rain didn't fall either. Both courses were filled with avid golfers hoping
for the most prized possession, a hole-in-one; or at least a door prize to bring
home.
Once again St. Andrews Golf Club was the wonderful host for this event and
true to tradition they provided a top-notch venue. A big thanks goes out to
the St.
Andrews staff for making this event the success it was. A BIG THANKS to all
the hole sponsors without whose support this association would not be the success
it is.
The association would also like to thank NITE, LLC., Hill Environmental Group
and QC Enterprises for the donation of two TV's and two DVD players to
be raffled off with all proceeds going to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund,
and Smithereen
for a large cash donation. Thanks to their generosity over $1,300 was raised
for the relief effort.
Dinner of filet and chicken was followed by a never-ending stream of door
prizes that were given to the lucky ticket holder, along with raffle
prizes donated
by hole sponsors.
Thank you to all who participated in this event. It was, as always, a
huge success through the magnanimous efforts of Angelo Saccameno and
his committee.
