Batteries For Emergency Lighting Adapt To Be Safer

Batteries For Emergency Lighting Adapt To Be Safer

It’s Friday night. You decide to venture to the local movie theatre to catch the “hot” new flick. With popcorn in hand, the 15-minute previews sparkle on the big screen. Just before the movie starts, the same old cinema warning appears.

“ In case of an emergency, please locate the nearest exit.”

You look ahead, and what do you notice? The illuminated exit signs conveniently giving you a guide to your safe exit in case of that dreaded emergency.

Of course that emergency exit sign wouldn’t be visible without its embedded light. And that embedded light wouldn’t work without the battery inside – the long-lasting Werker AGM (Absorbent Blass Mat) battery, offered at Batteries Plus – the nation’s largest chain.

The Werker AGM assortment of batteries are carefully constructed at the highest levels, helping secure the life of emergency lights, providing increased visibility and improved occupant safety – thus providing maximum safety control.

The AGM construction used for Werker batteries is designed for efficient gas recombination and allows for maintenance-free operation. The Werker battery construction maintains high capacity with a design resistant to damage caused by deep discharge. The one-way safety valve maintains pressure even under extreme conditions, giving those who choose the Werker battery the highest safety performance.

If there are ever any issues with the battery, all Batteries Plus locations are equipped with an extensive tech center, which provides the equipment and on-site expertise to assemble, test, condition and re-build the battery if necessary.

“ Our tech center is there to solve any customer’s problem,” said Paul Bessey. “We are dedicated to keeping the customer happy and ensuring the safety of the equipment in emergency situations.”

An extensive selection of Werker batteries can be found at area Batteries Plus locations or by calling 630-279-3478.
